Are you aware of all the great programs that Overlook’s PTO funds throughout the year?  Not only do we let our kids have fun with things like the Dance, 5K, BLINGO, Holiday Hollow, Spirit Nights at restaurants, and a Spring Fair, but we do so much more.  We also support our teachers by providing them with startup funds each September, staff appreciation luncheons in the fall & the spring, and grants for extras in the classroom.  The PTO is also big on enriching the student experience by funding math and reading nights, Briar Bush visits, After School Enrichment Programs, and subsidizing field trips.  We also provide lots of support to the library including hosting book fairs and purchasing books for the school with the profits, funding One School One Book and purchasing the Reading Olympics books each year.  We even allow our youngest students the opportunity to become authors with our annual Publishing Center project.  In addition to all that, we provide PSSA snacks for all students, a student directory, and we coordinate spirit and field day wear.

Enrichment Activities include: Briar Bush Program, Reading Night, Math Night, Spelling Bee, Turkey Bowl Brunch, PROUD School store, PSSA Support

Teacher Support includes: Start-up funds for all teachers in August, Holiday Gifts for all staff, and staff appreciation lunches in fall and spring. 

Books for Library includes: Reading Olympics books and entrance fees for RO, One School One Book books, and kick-off party. 

Family Fun Events includes: Fall Carnival, Overlook Dance, Overlook Night Out, K Meet & Greet, K Orientation, Back to School Event, and First Day of School giveaways for K parents.  

Note: Expenses related to events that raise money for the PTO are not included in these numbers.
