Kate Cusack returns for a second term as Co- President. She joined the Overlook Community in 2001 when her oldest entered 1st Grade. Her husband Shaun and she have 3 children that are all students at Overlook this year. Jackson ,Grade 4, Sullivan, Grade 2 and Charleston, Grade K. She works full time at the Vanguard Group where she has been for 18 years most recently performing in house consulting for the business and IT global investment management organizations. Kate and her family can be found on the soccer fields, basketball courts, baseball fields or dance studio trying new activities and enjoying time together. Kate’s primary objective is to explore new fundraising opportunities to ensure our students and staff have the best experience possible.

Laura joins the board this year with extensive experience and continued support of the Book Fair, Holiday Hollow and homeroom parent. Her oldest George is part of this year's graduating class and she looks forward to chairing these fun and unique student experiences.

Jessica Messick

Jessica Messick is a returning officer of the board currently serving as co vice- president. She and her family became part of the Overlook community in 2020. Her oldest, Lucy, is an overlook alumni and current Senior High schooler in Grade 9, and her youngest, Leona, is in Grade 3. In addition to Jess’s family and community involvement she also works full time in human resources. One of Jess’s core objectives this year is to increase parent teacher involvement.

Brittany is a first year officer and Abington Alumni. She has two daughters in the Abington School District. Brittany and her children are active members and volunteers at Faith Fellowship International Church in Willow Grove. Brittany has also volunteered in the past at CHOP speciality care center in Abington, PA. Brittany looks forward to supporting our volunteer community.

Jamie Rodriguez

Jamie Rodriguez is a returning officer of the board currently serving as co -secretary. She joined the Overlook Community in 2018 when Khloe, her niece, entered 1st Grade. Her daughter Liora began Kindergarten in 2019 and is currently a 5th grader at Overlook. Her husband Erik and she have been a part of the Abington community since 2016. She works full time in the tax department of a life insurance company. In their free time Jamie and her family spend time going for walks or bike rides. Jamie began her volunteer adventure with Holiday Hollow, has been PTO Co-Secretary for the past two years and is committed to continuing her role during her last year at Overlook. One of Jamie’s core objectives this year is to continue to support the Overlook community in all they do!

Jen Johns has enjoyed contributing as a homeroom parent and volunteer the last two years in Abington School District and looks forward to her youngest son enjoying his last year as an Overlook Owl. Jen and her family stay busy with all seasons of sports in and around Abington as well as with their family, friends, and church. As a former educator in California and Pennsylvania, Jen’s goal in joining the PTO board this year is to bring a positive attitude, encouragement, and help to the many volunteers, teachers, and staff that make Overlook an amazing school.

Angela Berntson

Angela has served as a Homeroom Parent since her son was in first grade and now he is in fifth! She and her son became part of the Overlook community during the pandemic in 2020. Her son participates in Overlook's amazing special education and emotional support programs. Angela co-chaired ASEP and has been integral to our May & Fall Fairs. By day, she works at Comcast Cable Headquarters in Philadelphia supporting sports, news, broadband and design teams on a global scale. Most recently, she earned her Bachelors of Science, Information Technology in addition to her Business Administration degree. One of Angela’s core objectives this year is to continue to support the Overlook Community!
